Ulutiu is the Forgotten Realms demigod of arctic dwellers, glaciers, and polar enviroments.

History

Ulutiu was involved in an affair with Othea, the wife of Annam, and the affair gave birth to the firbolg, fomorians, the verbeeg, and the voadkyn giantkin. Annam, upon finding out, killed Ulutiu's mortal form. His mortal body was put upon a barge, that upon sinking created the Great Glacier and the Endless Ice Sea. When Othea died, he exiled himself, eventually falling asleep on the Astral Plane. Since then, Auril has been stealing his portfolios, and had even taken his body to her realm.

Dogma

No person is the superior of another, with the exception of Ulutiu's clerics, who are his representatives in this world and who are set in positions of leadership to pass on his wisdom for his people. Because animals share the same emotions, thoughts, and morals as people (but express them differently), they should be respected on pain of Ulutiu's wrath.
