Yep, 6th edition is already over come May 24th. And if you thought 6th edition was "Warhammer Fantasy in Space" you haven't seen anything yet.
Pics for proof: here and here.
Confirmed features:
- They're not rewriting all the codexes they just wrote (Chaos Marines through Astra Militarum) because that would be stupid even for Games' Workshop
- You can ignore the Force Org chart if you wish, but you get bonuses for using it
- Psychic Phase. Think Magic Phase from Fantasy
- Daemonology. You can summon Daemons now as long as your name isn't Tyranids. Or Necron. Or Tau.
- Escalation, Stronghold Assault, and that new Altar of War book are included in the new rulebook
Rumored features:
- The Erratas and FAQ's from 6th will be in the rulebook somewhere
- Starter box is Blood Angels versus Orks
- Or Imperial Guard versus Eldar. Details are a bit hazy.
