Wonder where the animated projects such as Angels of Death, Astartes 2, Exodite and others are going to be hosted? Well wonder no longer as on Saturday, the 22nd of May, Games Workshop answered that question, Warhammer Plus!...yay?

Warhammer Plus (or Warhammer+) is an upcoming streaming service specifically for the Warhammer animated projects, an idea which has gotten people miffed. Other than the fact that the title and tagline for the service are crap, the idea of a streaming service specifically for Warhammer content seems like a hard sell, especially since it's clear not all of the projects are going to be finished by it's release date in July.
Warhammer Plus (or Warhammer+) is an upcoming subscription service dedicated to all things Warhammer. The stuff available to subscribers includes Citadel Colour (damn british staff...) Masterclass: videos teaching advanced painting techniques, Warhammer Loremasters: Seeing how successful lore videos are on youtube, it was a no brainer GW would take a crack at it, Battle Report: Narrative and Matched play battles, The premium feutures of the apps available, Warhammer Vault: Digital collection of older rulebooks and issues of White Dwarf, V.I.P privelages at events, and a free exclusive miniature....oh yeah and animations....

The marketing for it was also quite wack, since the only new information we've got from these projects is another short animation reel, the first 5 minutes of Angels of Death, and small audio clips from each project. (the one for Astartes 2 being quite notable as it was only the sound of marching)

Let's atleast hope the actual animations are good...(especially since they have some decent variety, knights, eldar, tau, orks, neat stuff)

Wonder where the animated projects such as Angels of Death, Astartes 2, Exodite and others are going to be hosted? Well wonder no longer as on Saturday, the 22nd of May, Games Workshop answered that question, Warhammer Plus!...yay?

The marketing for it in the beginning was quite wack, since the only new information we got from these projects was another short animation reel, the first 5 minutes of Angels of Death, and small audio clips from each project (the one for Astartes 2 being quite notable as it was only the sound of marching).

With a release date of August 25th, let's see if all these features will be enough to tie fans in.
