Webway Lords and Dark Eldar (Hektor Heresy)

Introduction

Early in the 30th Millennium, the Eldar empire was torn asunder by the birth of the Pleasure God and while many died, in the webway, those escaped by hiding, in a million hidden paths over a thousand independent realms ruled by those who wish to carry out deeds seemed irredeemable by many of their brethren. To these shadowy satellite cities and pleasure palaces lie the Old houses of the Eldar, each owning their own pocket of the webway, while vying to increase their own power, and eliminate their enemies. Amidst the constant scheming, and backstabbing one thing is constant, no matter what, the Dark kin will find a way to endure, and stave off, She who thirsts.

Realms and Satellites

Commorragh- Commorragh is a warzone, more violitile than any other region. THe pocket realm had always been cursed with thousands of un-mapped passages to untold realms, a cause for centuries of conflict. All the houses know, whoever holds Commorragh holds the webway, bacuse it is the crossroads for which many must past through. Commorragh grows with each day, as every clan and house funnels more resources into their holdings, to keep their land from the countless usurpers and native gangs that roam its dark streets. Comorragh is considered neutral ground by the Greater houses and is used as ground for business, treaties, and settlement of disputes. It is wise to note that while Comorragh is the largest city, there are realms that rival it, such as Shaa-Dom, Pandaimon, Kuxles, and Neph'Oxishn.

Notable Characters of the Dark Eldar

Vrylin El'uriaq- The regal Lord Vrylin of house EL'uriaq stands unquestioned lord over the dominion of Shaa-Dom, the city of Sin. THe El'uriaq family originated from the greater houses of the former Eldar Empire, and before the fall, set up Shaa-Dom as their personal estates. When the fall began Saldon El'Uriaq, grandfather of Vrylin invested a large sum into relocating his manufacturing business into Shaa-Dom, along with massive refugee influxes to serve him. Saldon was a stout believer in Eldar craftsmanship and held great disdain for xenos, a tradition that has translated Shaa-Dom into a lesser slave consumer.A the Eldar spent more time in the webway all were touched by the silky whispers of She who thirsts, corrupting the most noble of heart and driving Saldon insane. Vrylin usurped the throne from Saldon in M30.550. When Saldon went mad, he first started killing his own family, leave the El'uraiq stock ravaged until in a spectacular coup, Vylin forced a chaos magi to banish Saldon into the warp.with his stolen title, Vrylin secured his position by brutally subjugating his own populace, before leading a half century terror campaign that expanded the El'uriaq domain into Commorragh and secured them a seat among the great houses of the Dark Eldar.
