Let's face it - Wiesels, of either flavour - are utterly adorable. The TOW-armed ones, coming in Zugs of 2, 3, or 4 for 2, 4, or 5 points respectively, hit like a hammer (AT21, 48" range, FP3+), but have the armour of mouldy Sauerkraut. Being an optional (though some would say essentail) addition to the Fallschirmjager company, this is a cheap, airmobile source of anti tank in a formation otherwise somewhat bereft of anti-armour capability. Use wisely, best hidden, with use made of the Skill 3+ to Blitz/Shoot and Scoot to keep them out of trouble.

It may be small, but it hits like hell

The Weisel tankette is the last of its kind as an armored vehicle. While tankettes went virtually extinct after World War 2 due to being unable to survive anything stronger than a heavy machine gun, the Weisel 1 and 2 were adopted by the West Germans military for an airborne armored vehicle that can travel with paratroopers and transport helicopters. Its armor is barely adequate against anything heavier than a battle rifle but can punch above its weight with TOW missiles and AA cannons. Recently the Germans are trying to replace it with the GSD LuWa that’s in development.
