|type= The ship's hull type: Support, Transport, Fighter, Escort, Cruiser, Carrier, Battleship, Capital Ship, or Beyond Capital.

|engine= Standard ship engines FTL and otherwise.
|hull= Grade of ship plating.
|shields= Grade of ship shields.
|point_def= Grade of ship point defense systems.
