To attack, one rolls (d10+Physique+Weapon-target's Parry value) (for melee attacks)  or (d10+Reaction+Weapon-target's Dodge) (for ranged attacks). If the result is greater than or equal to 9, you hit, dealing damage equal to the amount you suceeded by + your weapon's damage. Some classes may provide bonuses to hit or to damage.
