According to a recent Warhammer Community article, they pretty much confirmed that these guys are also part of the [[Deathwing]], a rather sharp break from tradition considering that normal power-armored members wearing the company colors haven't been an official thing since Second Edition (with a possible exception being in the [[Deathwatch (RPG)|Deathwatch RPG]] depending on how canon you take that). For some reason they get 3 wounds despite not wearing Gravis armour, which is what gives Aggressors and Inceptors their 3 wounds. So they get 2 wounds for being primaris and then an extra for... being veterans? (But Company Veterans, Sternguard and Vanguard Veterans, only get 1 wound each, and Terminators need to don, well Terminator armour to get 2. Alright, definitely no bias there. To be frank there are already some super veteran with 1 extra wound, namely Honor Guard, Sanguinary Guard and Victrix Guard... Maybe it's having the word "guard" in the name? Cuz say Deathwing Knights are definetly as badass as the unit mentioned before yet don’t have any extra wound) (Don't tell the imperial guard, we don't need 2 wound guardsmen). It can’t possibly be the fuck huge shields their carrying. Or that Veterans are probably given higher quality armor especially melee specialized Veteran Marines. | For some reason they get 3 wounds despite not wearing Gravis armour, which is what gives Aggressors and Inceptors their 3 wounds. The Veteran Squad of Primaris Space Marines. The Bladeguard Veterans are Primaris First Company veterans that are armed with master-crafted power swords, storm shields and heavy bolt pistols.
