Edward is one of the first Warforged sent Aeus by Karn, the Golem God. Despite his loud and bombastic manner, the Captain values peace and and a quiet lifestyle more than anything else, which is why he chose a career as an 'honest' Free Trader rather than an adventurer. Unfortunately, his chaotic nature, horribly bad luck, abysmal memory, and tendency to take the highest-paying and thus most dangerous jobs conspire to heap trouble on him wherever he goes. His sense of justice, although strong, is rarely aroused.
