Medium Infantry

  • Bolts:

Marksmanship makes bolts hit hard on a effective BS of 16, the abundance of shotguns and the spitfire allow them to hold their own in the midfield while the multi sniper with msv1 provide a hard to shift defensive link piece. The hackers offer a good toolkit to go tag and hi hunting, with the killer hacking being a good armor hunter to carry with the link or take solo. Drop bears are situational to take, but it is worth dropping/throwing a few around instead of wasting half an order.

Tactical Armor Gear

TAGS:

  • Squalos: NCA's premier and only MBT. Operating within the 70 - 80 point range, the Squalos is quite capable of being taken in a full 15 order list. The Squalos within NCA has Duo which enables another Squalo to join it or one of the NCA wildcards. Some ideal Duo Options for the Squalos are: Heavy Shotgun (HSG) Bulleteer, Shona Carano or the Multi Rifle Black Friar.
  • Uhlan: NCA's Anti-TAG TAG. This Stingray TAG is typically 10 points more expensive than the Squalos MBT, and 9 pts cheaper than Varuna's Cutter; however brings a few toys along with that 88 points. The Uhlan rocks up to the game with 3STR, Camo (0), a B3/B2 DAM 15 Feuerbach, and a DAM 16 HMG and surprise attack and Tactical awareness. This guy is best suited to be your G2 support gun, that's not to say that he can't do work in G1, but he's no MBT.
