Not because of the environment. it actually is a temprate climate. Oh no, the reason it sucks to live there os a little celestial object called the Eye of Terror.

Because of the marading Chaos arimes that pass by, everyone is drafted before they can walk, and shoot before they can count. Then they are thrown into the meatgrinder at age 16.
