One day in Altdorf, some Cathayan visitors decided to set up a big fireworks display at a festival. This inspired one Herman Faulkstein to try to weaponize this exotic eastern technology. After much setbacks and a lot of tinkering to improve areodynamics he eventually got something which was accurate-ish enough to use as a weapon to blow up formations of chaos worshipers and gobbos. Thus was born the Helstorm Rocket Battery'.

A Helblaster Rocket Battery is basically an early modern Katyusha launching Congreve Rockets.
