The Jabberwock, also known as the Jabberwocky, is a monster that appeared in the poem "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Caroll, author of Alice in Wonderland. It is a fearsome beast that was slain with the Vorpal Sword, and that's all we really know about it.

In Dungeons & Dragons, the Jabberwock appeared in AD&D as a monstrous dragon-like fey creature.

In Pathfinder, the Jabberwock is somewhere between a fey elder dragon and an Archfey.

In Warhammer Fantasy, Jabberwocks are monsters associated with the forces of Chaos. They were retconned into being called Jabberslythes in 6th edition.
