Maranthos Egille was a member and commander of the First Legion, who was marked for his use of land speeders and bikes to bring swift victory. Maranthos believed that man is inherently savage, and that it was the duty of greater men such as the Astartes to civilize them. Maranthos stood as a staunch perfectionist, sometimes going too far in pressing his men in the opinions of his contemporaries. He would join Hektor Cincinnatus in damnation, becoming a Champion of Slaanesh.
