Mistborn

Mistborn is the name of a fantasy series created by Brandon Sanderson which features a 'magic' system called allomancy in which certain individuals can consume small amounts of certain metals to use a certain kind of ability. All users can only utilize one type of metal, except the rare Mistborn, who can use all the allomantic metals.
