A huge portion what is referenced at some point and is obstenibly funny directly-references either their show (Monty Python's Flying Circus), their movies (Life of Brian, Meaning of Life, and Quest of the Holy Grail, for example), or their live comedy segments.

You are fucking happier for having witnessed any of their bits. This is what talent and competence looks like.

The only problem is that people, being retards keep on referencing their material again and again and again until it just feels flat and lifeless. Please, do comedy a favour: Don't make reference to Monty Python, unless of course she really did turn you into a newt.
