Wingspan
Wingspan is a engine-building board game designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and published by Stonemaier Games. Players collect birds and get points for it. That's it. That's the whole concept. At first blush, it sounds like the most shoveled-out tree-murdering Ameritrash imaginable. But that isn't the case. [1]
