The Brotherhood of Mortis is an evil cult from Ravenloft, who created horrific monsters. The inspiration for both the cult itself and their monsters came from the 1997 Playstation 1 video game "Nightmare Creatures", which has been called "The Prototype Bloodborne" due to similar environments and enemies. The Brotherhood of Mortis' name is even based on the Brotherhood of Hecate from the game!
