This page details people, events, and organisations from the /tg/ Heresy, a fan re-working of the Warhammer 40,000 Universe.

The Eldar who reside on the planet-sized ships known as craftworlds are ascetic survivors of a race destroyed by its own hubris and self-indulgence, determined not to repeat the mistakes of their forebears. Each craftworld has a distinct and unique culture from the others, but all share in the acceptance of the rigorous philosophy known as The Path as a means to control their natural tendencies toward indulgence and incredible psychic potential. These Eldar avoid the trappings of their extreme emotional inclinations by devoting fully to the pursuance of one discipline for many years before switching to another, nourishing their psyches with experiences in a controlled manner over the lifetime. The Eldar of the craftworlds are a race that is surviving in a galaxy filled with foes, greatly outnumbered by all that they face.

Craftworlds

Though many craftworlds survived the fall of the Eldar, only a handful have maintained any sort of real presence in the galaxy without being destroyed. These Eldar are the most powerful and influential of their kind, and it is largely by their influence that their species has not been reduced to nothing but fractious and piratical raiders. Some are more cooperative than others, but most would rather unite than spill Eldar blood unnecessarily. When these great factions meet in conclave, one can trust in their seers' insistence that grave events are unfolding.

Craftworld Thuyelsa

Main article: Craftworld Thuyelsa

A Craftworld of scholars and historians dedicated to the preservation of Eldar culture and treasures, Thuyelsa is constantly on the lookout for lost technology of their ancient race. A number of ancient Eldar relics lie within the many museums of the immense glass city, Shintia, which is the main hub of Thuyelsa. They tend to operate near the Eye of Terror, frequently combating the forces of chaos in their scouring of the daemon-infested crone worlds the Eldar race once called home. The Craftworld is also the home of the original Crystal Serpents Aspect Shrine and its Phoenix Lord.

Aspect Warriors

The Aspect Warriors of the Craftworld Eldar each represent a particular aspect of the Eldar war god Khaine, and each have a different preferred method of waging war. Each aspect was founded by a Phoenix Lord, nigh-immortal warriors who exemplify their chosen manner of combat. And Eldar on the path of the warrior will eventually be brought to an Aspect Shrine and be taught in the unique methods of warfare by its Exarch, a fearsome warrior-priest lost forever to the path. Aspect Warriors are some of the most talented combatants at their chosen skill in the galaxy, but seeing the different aspects coordinated by a talented Autarch is an astounding sight to behold.

The Crystal Serpents exemplify stealth and the surprise attack, utilizing camouflage before striking out in a dazzling array of colors to disorient the enemy.
