Crustaceids are a sentient crablike aquatic race. They are known for their toughness and GIANT CLAWS
Background
Physical Description: Crusacied's most distinguishing features are their armored exoskeleton and 4 sturdy legs which makes them unique among the other civilized races. They are large creatures, with most standing 6 and a half feet tall. They have 2 eye stalks on top of their head and a strange crablike mouth. Their skin is usually muted colors of red and brown. Instead of hands crustaceids have 2 large pincer claws which can be formidable natural weapons. The shell of a crustaceid is of particular note as it is made of magically inert material which gives them natural spell resistance.

Alignment and Religion:
Crustaceids worship Malron as the greatest of all the gods. They hope to help labour to complete Malron's great calculations and atone for their role in breaking his plans as creations of Nox. Nox is a hated god to the Crustaceids who view Nox or absence as the ultimate and abominable fate behind all things not approved of by Malron. The other gods play very minor roles in their theology. Among all the races they travel the furthest inland in their great quest to fix the machinery of the world and even the laws of reality itself from breaking. It is even rumoured that some of the most powerful of the Crustaceids can travel back or forwards in time in their quest to police reality. Of course, these Crustaceids would never abuse their powers and only use them to make right the great machinery of reality. As Crustaceids' seek first and foremost to fix Malron's calculations and care not for other matters they can appear alien, illogical and even evil to some.
