Cultist-chan
Cultist-chan, is a young female member of a chaos cult who usually talks with a speech impediment. Well known for her role in HS40K.
Board Origins Back when that vegemite gargling drawfag was first taking requests, one anon, under the impression that he only did Warhammer 40k artwork attempted to trick him into drawing “Vampire: The Masquerade” artwork by requesting a “cute female cultist feeding waffles to a 3 headed chaos spawn”. The anon figured this would be close enough to his image he had in mind of a female tzemetze feeding waffles to a vozdt (man, WOD creatures seem to be named by punching the keyboard) anyways. The Vampire loving anon was satisfied and a handful more found themselves enamoured with the purple haired, jaggedy toothed gobshite, in spite of (or perhaps because of) her hideous speech impediment which mimicked the worthless cultist units from Dawn of Bald, and idea stolen from “Da Real World 40k”
She has been adored my some, tolerated by others and despised by many since.
Like most things in life, Cultist is a mary sue, anti-sue weeaboo.
Character History Cultist has been in the service of the black legion since her birth (details unknown) From ages 0-18 she was left in Abaddons care, her annoying, wretched existence is suspected at being at least partially responsible for him being such a miserable failure in those years and in years to come.
Cultist spent her teenage years getting purged a lot. Her low armour save, low self esteem and trusting nature made her an easy purge. Regularly getting her incinerated, blown up and chainsworded every which way. Regardless, she always seemed to heal up okay, although she was left scarred ( and tanned on account of her frequent bathings in blessed promethium). The events of HS40k took place at this point.
Cultists physical age halted at about 27 (some plan between Tzeench and Slaanesh, who knows how those guys think?) and she spent decades continuing to serve on the front line for the Black Legion. A hopeless shot with a laspistol, she was usually left to carry the banner, her durability far outweighing any hopes she had of actually hurting anyone.
The gods themselves seem to consider her valuable. According to Nurgle she is “the cancer”, so he approves. Khorn acknowledges how much she irritates people sending them into a rage, which makes them easier to win over to his side. In Slaaneshes case, apparently Cultist reminds people of “the girl they knew but never asked out”. The sense of longing proved delicious to him. And Tzeench just steepled his fingers and said “just as planned” like he always damn does.
So the gods may have liked her, but Abaddon thought she was a douche. At the end of yet another failed black crusade, he left her behind. Dejected, she wandered the galaxy, occasionally trying to help other Chaos Lords in their conquests but always being a miserable failure.
She is believed to have spent some time in the company of both Necron Lords and Chaos Warlords in this time, but the details are, again, sketchy. Think she bugged them while they were trying to have a beer or something.
Anyways, eventually while wandering, and attempting to assist a lost child (the child reeked of heresy so cultist thought her a Chaos sympathizer). Whilst assisting the child though, a Callidus assassin neural shredded Cultist, killing her instantly.
Her rather messy corpse, after being laughed at by passers by, and used indecently by deviant xenos was consumed by a passing Kroot, who has since become very unpopular due to absorbing both her pitiful strength and horrible voice.
For a while, things seemed good. She was dead. Good riddance.
Unfortunately for Dranon, a Chaos Lord of the Wordbearers chapter, who had an exceeding low opinion of Cultist; the dark gods decided to resurrect her. To make matters worse, Slaanesh giggled as they collected her from the warp, causing her to be brought back as a 7 year old, and subsequently requiring someone to watch over her. They left her in Dranon’s care, despite his protests. They assured him that in about a month she would be returned to the body of a 27 year old.
Presently she is still effectively 7.
She seems to have 3 friends. A plague bearer, an exceedingly shy, prudish Sororita she has known for decades and seems to have almost as much trouble making friends as cultist and a 3 headed chaos spawn carrying the aspects of 3 of the 4 gods.
Physicality As an adult, cultist stands at just shy of 5’4”. She is undernourished, and clad in rags (which based on colour correspondence, seem to be hand me downs from her Sororita associate). She is believed to smell strange, but not actually bad, but that’s probably based purely on the how pious whoever can smell her is. She has an excess of teeth, a majority of which are sharp and irregular in length but otherwise in good condition, as cultist dislikes sweet food.
She has cheesey lectoos of each god’s symbol on her (Khorn lectoo location unknown). When asked why she got 4 cheesey tattoos instead of 1 chaos undivided mark, she explained that she didn’t picked them, and that she has always had them. She also has other basic, (possibly profane) tattoos across her body.
Cultist has 2 piercings on her shoulder blades that she hooks a large chaos wheel to, both as a sign of devotion and (speculatively) as a weapon, she has been seen wielding it as such in some picts but is probably to weak to throw it any distance.
Strengths: Devoted, Heals quickly, Friendly,Grateful, Seems to have good upper back strength.
Weaknesses: Is the walking, breathing, embodiment of failure.
Name Cultist is tunnel visioned in her devotion to the dark gods and considers her position to be her name. She sees herself as one of many (hence often saying “we” instead of “I”) any name she ever had has been lost over a century ago. But it's definitely not Susan.
