Desmodu

The Desmodu are a playable race of large, Yeti-like creatures, but with batlike faces. They appeared in the Dungeons & Dragons 3.0 Monster Manual II and were reprinted in Savage Species. In both printings, they were given an NPC stat block and a level adjustment, meaning that they were not playable as written but could easily be converted into a playable race.
