Herbert George (better known as "H.G.") Wells was one of the first science-fiction authors EVER, and also one of the first fa/tg/uys. In 1913 (about 20 years after writing his more well-known sci-fi books) he wrote "Little Wars; a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books." This means that he also invented sexism amongst fa/tg/uys roughly seventy years before Gary Gygax did.

Some of his books are so old that even Disney can't get copyright extended long enough to engulf them; these are available from Project Gutenberg so you do not need to search /rs/.
