Local Lord, or Local Lordposting, is a meme from the 2020s inspired by (or perhaps parodying) /tg/'s memetic obsession with grimdark and Low Fantasy. There are several distinctive forms of Local Lordposting, but generally they revolve around a standard Heroic Fantasy style band of adventurers being impeded, obstructed, humiliated or outright destroyed by an (allegedly) historically accurate local lord figure and his forces.
