Merikka

There is no fucking way that there is really a Dungeons and Dragons god named Merikka, is there? If these was, would he be the god of fireworks, bald eagles, flags, and bragging about freedom while simultaneously reading his citizens' emails and accumulating insane amounts of debt?

Well, it turns out that there is. Merikka is the goddess of farming and agriculture, and cousin of Telchur, the god of winter, cold, and the North Wind. Information about them is hard to come by, and nobody seems to remember what books they first appeared in, what their alignments are, or really anything else. They might not even really exist, and might instead be an elaborate prank played by trolls in the GitP forums to induce a sort of Mandela effect.
