The Order of the Waning Dawn is a Sisters of Battle Order created through the Sisters of Battle Order Creation Tables. They fight alongside the Black Sentinels Space Marine Chapter in defense of Dorsak 12, but are often at odds with the brotherhood's underhanded and flighty tactics. Oddly, the sisters maintain a close and warm relationship with the Scholastica Psykana, and are especially welcoming of biomancers who are willing to work alongside their few Hospitaliers.
Detailed Information
No Order is created without purpose, what is yours? Standing Force - "This area doesn't have sufficient spiritual guidance, found an order!"
None save the Emperor are perfect, Where is your Order found wanting? An Eye for an Eye - The Order refuses to use the tactics of cowards and will sacrifice every soldier before retreating. The Black Sentinels rarely allow this to come to pass, however.
Each Order has its "quirks" Uphold the Honour of the Emperor - Let His light guide you!
Each Order has a Saint to whom the sisters look to for guidance. Sister Superior Caless Atera, Bane of Orks
How much influence do you have in the world's affairs? No Influence. The Sisters operate out of an orbital monastery, and generally descend only when on Schola assignments or when undergoing Orbital Insertion.
How does your order engage the enemy? Orbital Insertion, descending from their satellite-monastery as a steel rain.
Does your chapter have any divergence? Modified Weaponry - Heavy use of Arbites weaponry, such as shock-clubs, combat shotguns, and Locke-Pattern Bolters. All projectile weaponry can be partially disassembled for close-quarters combat, and come equipped with some form of bayonet
How does your order worship? Penance and Obligation - "You owe a debt of blood to the Imperium"
Order Strength Nominal
Who are your allies? The Scholastica Psykana, who often send their Biomancers to train with the order's Hospitaliers. The Black Sentinels Space Marine Chapter consider themselves close allies of the Sisters, but the Sisters take offence at the brotherhood's tendency to 'flee' from combat.
