Homeworld
Vernum is a mountainous planet full of rich minerals, with large and rich equatorial jungles, mired in chemical sludge. Massive factories and forges spewed toxins constantly, choking the planet, and irradiated material leeches into the land. The people of Vernum were a group spacefaring slavers, aggressively conquering and colonizing their system, becoming it's dominant force. Vernum quickly became the main provider of processed goods, taking in raw materials to provide products to their subjugated system, allowing Vernum to grow rapidly. The ruling elite consisted of wealthy businesses, and Oligarchic families which each sought out their own interests, loosely kept together by mutual need, and constantly in conflict with one another.
Legion Tactics
The Second Sons are used to grinding wars of attrition, preferring the straightforward approach of strength and overwhelming firepower to secure their victories. Known for their incredible toughness, due to surviving Vernum,It made them perfect for holding the line, and slowly rolling over the enemy, while enduring their withering any returning fire. Known for taking direct command of allied Imperial forces,and later Human auxiliary to compliment their force and buffer their ranks.
Legion Organization
The legion is subdivided into chapters
