Toki Willward

Toki Willward is a Chaotic Neutral 23 year old Half-Elf fighter and adventurer, hailing from Akaton. He's known for being tough, stupid, relaxed, and charging head-first into things without thinking. He's also a giant comic relief character.

Backstory

Toki was born and raised in an Elven community in Akaton, and despite being a Half-Elf, he had a happy childhood. He didn't know his father, and as Toki himself was the result of a skank elf and a Totally-Not-A-Viking Mercenary. All he knows of his father is that he comes from Norscion, and was named Ulf. His mother, Arven Willward, is currently alive and well. And despite being a slut, she was a good mother. When Toki came of age, he decided to take his father's old armour and sword, and head off into the world.

On his first trip into the city, he was scammed by a human man who tricked him with a card game. The man, after hearing Toki's story, decided to take him under his wing, and became his mentor. The man's name was Swkisgaar, and under him, Toki learnt fighting, cheating, flirting, how to convince people, how to anger people, how to make people do what you want, and a million other useless talents. When Toki turned 22, Swkisgaar decided he was ready, and sent him off. He was also about to be arrested for tons of crimes, but, that doesn't matter. From there, Toki went on his first adventure, and hasn't stopped since.

Appearance

Toki, like his namesake, Toki Wartooth, has pale skin, and long, straight light brown hair. He is of average height, and has silver eyes. He wears a leather armour chest-piece with shoulder guards, leather kneepads, leather boots with steel plates that reach just under his knees, and a helmet with both a nose-guard, and 'spectacles' much like a Viking helmet. He has worn, brown leather gloves, and most of his armour is scratched. He doesn't appear to be as strong as he truly is, but, to put it bluntly, he is fucking jacked. He's almost always wearing a shit-eating grin.

Personality

Toki is known with his friends to be stupid, funny, and loveable. He dislikes planning situations and usually rushes in headfirst, aiming to cut a creature, or person, in half. He does, however, know how to be civil when he needs to be, and knows his way around speechcraft. Like Toki from Metalocalypse, he makes most of his words plural. I.e "Aw mans, they ates my foods." He has no problems with grabbing his friends, although not sexually, and is usually extremely confident and proud, although not narcissistic. He doesn't truly hate anyone, unless they give him good reason to, and he does whatever he wants, and whatever his friends want. He has a dragonborn fetish, and has banged only one, although he does try to get in with his friend, Jospeh. He loves alcohol and drinking, and aims to taste as many as physically possible before he dies. He is, for some reason, Yellow-Green colour blind. He sees the grass and trees as yellow, and the sun as green. Nobody has ever corrected him, so he thinks this is normal. He enjoys drinking, gambling, fucking, fighting, swearing, grabbing, yelling, partying, adventuring and his friends.

Alter Ego

Toki's alter ego is a female half-elf/elf named Valkyrie Wartooth. She is a shy, nervous, anxious mess of a young woman, and a complete change from Toki's normal personality. She has silver eyes, pale skin, and light brown hair tied up in a pony tail. She likes reading, writing, and carries a small knife while wearing normal, plain, clothes. She has done a few odd jobs, including Babysitter, model, thief, cook, and maid. She was created when Swkisgaar taught Toki to pretend to be a chick on late nights. Oooh.

Toki's Friends

Swkisgaar, Toki's Mentor, and helped him improve both his strength and people skills. Basically a life teacher. Most likely in prison, or dead. Or dead in prison.

Biggus - A insane wood-elf Toki did an adventure with. She murdered innocents, and attacked him, J and Sorrow on an adventure with bandits. Toki, through pure rage and willpower, cut off her head after some moves worthy of a saga.

Jospeh - A good dragonborn friend of his, the two of them have gone on multiple adventures together, including quests, drug busts, binge drinking and more. They are what Toki would even refer to as "Best Buddies." Jospeh reigns Toki in when he gets too excited and does things without thinking. He is calm, smart, good, and a non-acholohic and this contrast helps Toki and him work well together. In a past life, he was the only straight pirate on a ship full of gay ones.

Sorrow - A 15 year old Tiefling, Toki decided to be a responsible adult when he and jospeh adventured with her. This soon changed when he realized she could get anything he wanted, and used her as a 'free stuff' machine. Friends to the middle degree, more of a little sister he gets on well with. She is known as an urban legend of a 15-Year-Old who murders prisoners in the woods.

Sora - His first real new friend when he went to a new land, he met and banged her after his first day. She's a friendly novice merc Dragonborn, who secretly aspires to be a famous bard. Toki is currently tutoring her in fighting in exchange for a place to stay. She is known for being relaxed, enjoying reading, and studying, and is slightly racist against Elves due to Toki's bullshit.

Lord Xaiver - While Toki is employed to be a rich douchebag's bodyguard, he is more of a good, jokey friend. He makes jokes, messes around, drinks and does whatever he is told for the king with enthusiasm.

List Of Odd Jobs Toki has done

In between adventuring and travelling, Toki has done some odd jobs to help pay for food, drink, clothes and a place to sleep. This a list of those jobs.

• Bodyguard – Major city, 10 gold for the full day. Quit when he lost his client and was too embarrassed to look so he just left the city.

       Overall made 50 gold.

• Escort – Got paid to bang women, pretty okay. Made about 160 gold within a week. Quit when he got approached by a dude, but this led to his

       next job.

• Pretend Boyfriend – pretended to be women’s boyfriend to get their family off their back, or offer them companionship. Got paid to talk about

       himself and get hugs. Sweet-ass gig. Kept this going as a side business and hasn’t ‘properly’ quit. Someone’s comment leads him to the next 
       job. Earned around 350 for his rent and other costs in the city. 

• Pretend girlfriend – Dresses up as a chick and does the same. He just ties his hair in a ponytail and wears chick clothing. Calls himself

       ‘Valkyrie Wartooth’ and speaks in a high pitched voice. Still uses Valkyrie as an alter-ego. Same amount as Boyfriend. Keeps this going too.

• Food Vendor – Didn’t end well after he got caught selling rat meat as chicken. Made 5 gold from one sale.

• Thug – Got paid to act scary and stand his arms crossed, or put a hand on his sword and glared during ‘business transactions’. Still friends

       with a city’s local mob boss. Made a decent amount of gold and still does it whenever he visits. Overall, 680 gold for a few months of work. 

• Babysitter: Was pretty normal, accidentally lead into his next job.

• Kidnapper – Got himself into something he didn’t realise, was too late to back out. Regrettably made 500 gold which he then donated to the

       parents, who got their kid back anyway. First time Toki had a proper conscience. 

• Sell-Sword/Merc – Heard of fighting between two factions, The Free Army Of Serbson and Royal Forces Of Crotion. Joined the free army at first,

       got confused, joined the royal forces. The war ended before he got paid so he left. 

• Bartender – Fired after drinking too much on the job. Earned 2 gold he found on the floor.

• Barmaid – Same thing. Stole 20 gold’s worth of alcohol before he left.

• Drug-Dealer – Sold Opium to Doctors for a week, before he got arrested. Bribed the guards with half his earnings and a promise he would stop

       it at the source. Got 50 gold. 

• Raided a drug den - sold off the drugs for far less than they were worth to a dock worker and earned 100 for his reward. Got 110.

• Dock-Worker – Helped loaded boxes onto a ship. Too much heavy work, only did it for a day. Got 15 gold.

• Trainer – Trained some lady’s kid after she asked him in the streets, he then went onto a Military Academy. Earned 70 gold for all the

       training and a place to stay. 

• Book Seller – Found a dirty book and sold it to someone who only bought it because he thought he was insane. Earned 2 gold.

• Artist – Tried his hand at a painting, managed to sell it to a fancy politician who pretended he understood art, and made 12 gold from it.

• Baker – Made no money because he found out he didn’t know how to bake. Oops.

• Fisherman – Caught a few fish and sold them to a fishmonger for 10 gold each. Got 30 gold.

• Fishmonger – Helped out the guy who he sold fish to for a few weeks. Was a friendly old man and Toki treated him like an uncle. Made 60 gold

       and then went on his way when the old man retied. Still writes letters to him. 

• Thief – Stole from the rich and gave to himself. Accidentally gave a ruby necklace to a random little girl. Got 200 gold.

• Blacksmith – Made a shoddy sword that he sold the metal for 12 gold for.

• Cooper (Barrel Maker) – Made one barrel that he sold to a tavern to use as a decoration for 15 gold.

• Assassin – Killed a random dude and got 120 gold. Gave 20 to his family. Earned 100.

• Brewer – Made his own brand of Lager named ‘Toki’s Owns’. Didn’t do very well, one tavern sold it and he earned 100 from it. Still carries a

       bottle with his own hand-made label on it. 

• Cleaner – Cleaned up someone’s house, it was a murderhouse. Got paid 600 to keep quiet. He was going to anyway, but, hey. Extra money is

       greats!

• Priest – Started his own religion, got bored, told his followers the gods he made up didn’t exist. Made some peasants question everything. Got

       about 5 gold. 

• Stablehand – Banged the stable owner’s hidden half-drow daughter. He was gonna kill him, but Toki said he would tell. Got 16 gold to keep

       quiet and a black eye. 

• Musician/Poet – Wrote and sang the song for an army, got paid 60 gold for the rights and its now a popular marching song. The song is The Lost

       Vikings by Dethklok.

• French Maid for rich old man – Valkyrie was hired as a maid, complete with costume. Led to some extremely confusing thoughts for Toki. Got 20

       gold and thoughts that to this day keep him up at night.

• Bounty Hunter – Got lost searching for the target and gave up. Turns out the target was him. Whaaaaaat?

• Logger – Cut down a tree and sold the wood for 75 gold. Pretty boring. Toki hated it.

• Miner – Also hated it. Lead him to question why he was doing normal jobs? Got 50 gold which he donated to the Miners because ‘They gots to

       work this shitty job their entire lives. They deserves it.”

• Child’s Jester – Went to parties, was pretty popular. Enjoyed being an idiot and making people laugh. Stopped after he got hit in the crotch

       with a large wooden pole and couldn’t move for an hour. Got paid 25 extra as compensation, and because the kids LOVED it. Earned 65 over four 
       parties.

• Map-Maker – Ended up making his own maps, which he sold to a dragonborn lesbian writer for 40 gold to use in her fiction stories. Tried to

       bang her, found out she was a lesbian. Tried to do it as Valkyrie, she nearly pegged him with an arrow. Needless to say they don’t talk 
       anymore. Earned 40 gold for 5 maps.

• Diplomat-For-Hire – Was hired to sort out family problems, because of his smooth-talking, he brought back many families. Earned 150 gold from

       8 different families. Ruined a couple too, however.

• Butcher – Sold meat to a creepy dude. Earned 12 gold.

• Chariot Racer – Got disqualified for smashing the other racers, but got paid 50 gold under-the-table because the crowd loved it so much and it

       boosted sales. 

• Detective – Wasn’t sneaky enough, got caught every-time. Earned 10 gold because one felt sorry for him.

• Model – Both Toki and Valkyrie did this. Got 60 gold to pose for drawings. Partly regrets it.

• Gladiator – Won a few fights, got bored and left as nobody actually died. Still friends with one of them, a super friendly, positive Elf who

       always supported him. Got 100 gold. 

• Mayor – Made a campaign saying “Don’t vote for me! I suck!” got elected, actually set things straight and made a new election. The small town

       loved him so much he got 600 gold. 

Overall, Toki has earnt – 4,262 gold. Take away 3,500 for expenses such as food, drink, alcholol, places to stay and others, we have 736 gold. Take away 650 for the trip to the new land, we have 80. Take away 30 for new clothing for Valykrie and we’re left with 56 spending money.
