"Sarge, why do they call it a pack howitzer if we gotta out the howitzer, in the gun, pack the shot the gun.

The 75mm Pack Howitzer M1, later redesignated M116, was an airborne use field artillery gun used by United States Airborne forces in WW2 and is featured as a unit in Flames of War. Designed to be extremely portable, the M1 could be dissembled into 9 separate parachute packages weighing between 73 to 107 kilograms (160 and 283lbs respectively). This allowed the M1 to go literally ANYWHERE its operators could via glider or plane.
