Uber is a series of comics featuring an Alternate Universe WWII, where Germany has suddenly managed to introduce supersoldiers that are powerful enough to completely alter the course of history. With the entire timeline of the war changed, the Allies and Axis are both launched into an Arms Race to win the war through development of so called Ubers.

Uber has been very well received on /tg/, with two separate storythreads propping up to show it. While at the same time, many Anons have discussed together possible means of creating a Tabletop Game for Uber, be it an RPG styled after Only War, or a Strategy Game akin to Warhammer 40k.

Why it's great for Tabletop Games

Uber Features fairly consistent 'mechanics' in universe, dealing with how 'Tankmen' function. There are two fundamental schools of thought, being Strength(Toughness, Speed, and Raw Power), and Halo(Reality Bending abilities). Every Uber starts with a finite pool of both Strength and Halo, which usually caps out at 2.

However to complicate it, some tankmen also have different pools. They generally go from 2, 6, 12, and 24, with 24 being called a "Battleship". Battleships in this case tend to have near-godlike powers in both physical and halo effects. Conversely they are also Extremely Rare

In addition to the differing sizes of enhancement pools, it is also possible to skimp out on either Strength or Halo. Whereby Ubers can be created with Ultimate Strength at the cost of reality bending power, or demi-god levels of reality bending, at the cost of being vulnerable to ordinary weapons.

RPG System proposals

Given that the degree to which the tankmen can be enhanced is inborn, an Exalted-style 'your character this game will be roughly this powerful' class system is preferable.
