Wesnoth
Wesnoth is a freeware (free to download and play) turn-based strategy PC-game that has a mixed reception from fa/tg/uys.
It is universally agreed it's /tg/ related because the game is set in a fantasy world not too dissimilar with Generic Fantasy Land #3 (Elves are gay and are in woods, Dwarves are grumpy dicks in stone, Orcs are retarded and fighty and Humans are EVERYWHERE!
The Good
- It's free.
- It's balanced.
- The modding community is big, with the total mod content far greater than the original content.
- It has RPG elements within it's turn-based structure. (ZOMG! they can LEHVEL!)
- It's free.
The Bad
- The RNG (the random chance hitter thing) can be really annoying and completely ridiculous.
- The graphics are shitty. But they're not meant to be great so that's no issue.
- It's slow like every other turn-based game.
- Level design flaws.
BUT IT'S FREE SO STOP COMPLAINING! IT'S NOT LIKE YOU BOUGHT THE DAMN THING!
Hell, see for yourself what it's like;
