Aluvan is the Ghostwalk god of death, ghosts, and guidance and protection of souls. Despite being fairly old, he doesn't have a strong following outside of Manifest.
Worshippers[edit | edit source]
The church of Aluvan in Manifest is largely a loosely organized church with a living and ghost clergy. They often act as guardians for the caravans of the dead, ensuring that their remains enter the city without issues, as well as helping the recently dead be taught about their new existance and prepare them for the True Afterlife. The church has only two holy days. The first is the Chant of Memory, held on the longest day of the year, where the souls of those who have passed are honored. The second is the Lament, a random day in winter chosen by the high priest, where the destruction of Manifest by Durgerth the Conqueror is remembered.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Aluvan is depicted as an old man with white hair and golden skin, wearing a white robe.
Dogma[edit | edit source]
Watch over ghosts and the dead as you would your own children, for they are the children of Aluvan. Do not fear death, for Aluvan’s hand will shelter you in your journey. Guard the way for ghosts to pass into the True Afterlife; neither hinder their journey nor accelerate it, but leave the Eternal Path clear for their travels. Fight the worshipers of the Demon Prince and his creations without mercy or quarter.
