Poseidon is the ancient Greek god of the sea. He is Zeus' and Hades' brother. Despite forming The Big Three greek gods with his brothers is the least likely to have an important role in a story, whether in modern day or in the myths of the past. Still he has a few major legends such as creating horses, fighting with Athena for the position of Athens' patron god, creating the Minotaur, fucking Odysseus over for stabbing his son's eye out, and siring a boatload of children including the hero-king founder of Athens Theseus, a fuck ton of Cyclops, a litany of minor gods, somehow the twins Pegasus and Chrysaor with Medusa despite them being born of her blood, and is some stories Orion.
He is most relevant to /tg/ for creating The Minotaur, being a part of the Greek pantheon and thus a mainstay in D&D's line up of gods, and being the original patron god of Wave.
