The Steel Concecrators were founded on the planet Phollus I by the Dank Angles in the 39M. On the brink of the 40M, a space hulk appeared near the planet. Knowing the threat it could pose to their planet, if it contained chaos or xenos forces, they sent out scouts to check it for hostile forces. The scouts fond what appeared to be a small amount of tyranids, and reported this back to the chapter. The chapter mobilized and all 1000 of their marines at the ship. They wanted to land as many troops as possible as fast the remaining troops boarded on the the few ships that survived. During their flight they came across a planet besieged by orks. Even though few of them remained, they knew that as astartes it was their duty to protect the sheep of mankind. When they landed, only one city remained unconquered. They boarded their Thunderhawks and landed behind enemy lines. The entirety of the force was carving its way to the city, but one lone figure, the chapta masta, Valdez the Scourge,fought its way deeper into the WAAAGH, all the way to the warboss. He fought with the warboss and killed it, but he was injured near death and his sword was shattered. He was placed in a dreadnaught and ordered his sword to be forged into a set of power claws.
Present Day[edit | edit source]
They now hunt down spess hulks and cleanse them. They are scattered across the galaxy, working with the Soritas to find spess hulks. When one is found they call a "hunt". The chapter then congregates on their flagship named "Iron Angel". The spess hulk is then targeted and cleansed. They cleanse it by Assaulting it with a swarm of thunder hawks. The thunderhawks blow holes in the spess hulk and the marines paratrooper in, and the thunderhawks provide them fire support. They believe that flesh is weak, as it is able to be corrupted by their hated foes, the tyranids. They also believe it is weak because It cannot survive the vacuum of space. If anybody can make this less shity that would be nice.
