The Bag

In /tg/, when you die there are no angels, or tunnels with light, or perky goth chicks who won't bang you but you totally still imagine they will...
There is only Death, with a tight schedule.
And there is also the bag.

The Bag is where we all go when we die. What started as a thread about silly takes on the Grim Reaper evolved into the ultimate subversion of all Grim Reaper tropes: a pointlessly antagonistic, harried salaryman with nary a shred of dignity or ostentation. He carries with him an ordinary bag, sometimes envisioned as an ordinary household trashbag, a burlap sack, or the adventurer's Bag of Holding; and he wants you to get inside quick-like.

Seeing as people can be a bit sentimental about where their loved ones end up when they die, mentioning the bag is one of the easiest and most surefire trolling strategies.

The Bag[edit | edit source]

I'll tell you this. This bag is pretty much instant death (unless you have a miracle, true resurrection spell or anything like that). Even Trolls wouldn't use that thing...or would they?
  • YOU NEED TO GET FUCKING IN IT.
  • BLUH BLUH BLUH, YOUR FAMILY DIDN'T LIKE YOU ANYWAYS - NOW GET IN THE FUCKING BAG.
  • WELL SIR IT APPEARS THAT YOU DIED OF A CASE OF GETTING IN THE FUCKING BAG RIGHT NOW!
  • YEAH, YEAH, I'M SURE YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER IS REALLY BUSY NOT HEARING YOUR MESSAGES FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE BUT YOU REALLY NEED TO GET IN THE FUCKING BAG LADY.
