===Setting=== The Shattering has left Azeroth forever scarred, with the Aspect of Death and the Twilight Hammer both working to bring forth the end of days. The Firelord, Ragnaros, has been defeated by heroes once and for all in his own elemental sanctum, Nefarian and the dreaded Black Dragonflight have been permanently disposed of, and Cho'gall is no more. However, the Twilight's Hammer is still a very real threat to Azeroth as they begin their final mission (promised glory by Deathwing) to return Azeroth to chaos. And an even darker force may be behind it all, operating from the shadows to assure its eventual triumph and dominion over a world beset from all sides by evil, much of its own orchestration. In the middle of all this, there stands the Whitefire Crusade; devout men and women of the Light, shining through the darkness and seeking to illuminate the world once more. For now, they can do little to stop the mad Aspect and his vile agents - but there is a place that could use their cleansing touch, in the ruins of the lost kingdom of Lordaeron upon the eastern continent. The Plaguelands. With the triumph of the Lich King fresh in their memory and the lives it cost them grimly so, there now remains an important task of eradicating the last of the Scourge so that they may never rise again, lest a new Lich King seek to replace Arthas... Within Stratholme, Baron Rivendare and his sinister cohorts plot their advance upon the living world while underneath Caer Darrow, the Cult of the Damned seek to wrest control of Andorhal against the efforts of the Horde and Alliance alike. The Scarlet Crusade, though composed only of remnants serving a dark and obscurely known master, still oppose the living and the dead as if they were the same with unresolved madness. Worst of all, however, a familiar and powerful force plots its return to the forefront of Azeroth's many troubles... Is there any chance that the Whitefire Crusade can retake the Plaguelands for the race of man and finally avenge the fallen Paladins and innocents of Lordaeron who perished in the Scourging?
