Gender/Physical Description: A young man who is clearly too young to be in the presence of other boards, even the ones who are little girls. Very ordinarily-looking in respect to the other boards, although his fashion choices and proportions betray the fact that he is a teenager. He has the inexplicable ability to turn into a girl, giving him a pair of unproportionally large breasts. Tends to get erections when he shouldn't.
Personality/Habits/Hobbies/Behavior etc.: /adv/ has a tendency to both ask for and give advice (usually the former.) He tends to need help with relationships most of all, usually concerning some trivial or immature facet of it, but occasionally poses serious questions about his future or other meaningful things. The advice he provides is questionable but sincere and at worst he will ignore inquiries about things he isn't familiar with. His knowledge of both male and female concerns stems from his ability to turn into both genders (but only their teenaged, deeply-troubled versions.)
Relationships: Most of the boards are wise enough to take /adv/'s advice with a grain of salt or not visit him at all. He has a fairly good relationship with /soc/, even if she never really listens to what he has to say.
You're Not Hitler! (???2017 Old 4chan History Comic TBA)
Work In Progress: /adv/'s gender is undetermined, though to the board tans his/her appearance is apparent. The viewers never get to see the board tan's appearance except for the back of the board's chair. /r9k/ frequented /adv/ on occasion despite it being a huge annoyance to him/her.
/adv/ was born on the same day as /new/, /int/, /sci/, and /lit/, but the board rarely celebrates with them, preferring instead to be left alone to offer disparaging advice to visitors.
