Intro[edit]
Remnants of a company of Tilean mercenaries decide, after a stroke of bad luck, that Mordheim is the only way to get back into business.
Heroes[edit]
Giacomo Malatesta, 'Captain'[edit]
Mercenary Captain
Until a few weeks before entering Mordheim, Giacomo was a sergeant in a somewhwat ill-fated Tilean grand company. The expedition into the Empire on a contract to fight orks proved a disaster, and the company was broken in a series of ambushes and running skirmishes after a battle gone wrong. After seeing his captain fall, Giacomo and his men decided they don't have any more obligations and broke off with the late captain's gear, money, and daughter. Giacomo declared himself captain and his gang of deserters a free company five minutes later.

Champion
The youngest of five Malatesta brothers and a veteran mercenary himself, Vittorio is a recent arrival to Mordheim, having brought reinforcements and weapons as a token of trust the family places in Giacomo and his operation.

A local guide, hired after the warband walked right into a three-way street battle on their first venture into the city. He has taken naturally to Tilean crossbow drills and is quickly becoming a fearsome sniper.

Youngblood
The late captain's daughter, she's an adept trader and heir to a large network of mercenary and merchant contracts. Took up post as paymaster after Giacomo's brother fell to a Chaos warband, half of which she fought off on her own, causing grievous injury to one of their champions. After suffering terrible wounds at the hands of a black dwarf sorcerer, and seeing a vision of her own death brought on by fever and vile magic, she's convinced that she will not die in Mordheim. The city holds no fear for her anymore.

Game 1: Defeat. 1xp for everyone. Got 3 wyrdstone. Sold 2 wyrdstone for 50. Bought a second champion for 35, a spear for 10 and a shield for 5.
Game 2: Victory. 1xp for everyone, 1xp for Giacomo for winning and another 1 for causing a casualty. Got 2 wyrdstone, and a dagger off of a corpse (3-3) Sold 2 wyrdstone for 50. Bought a youngblood for 15, a spear for 10, and a crossbow for 25.
Game 3: Victory. 1xp for everyone, 1 for Giacomo for winning and 1 each for Moncha and Fulko for causing casualties. Domenico the EXPENSIVE champion is killed, Fulko misses next game, one halberdier dies. Got 3 wyrdstone. Sold 3 wyrdstone for 65 and replaced the halberdier for 61.
Game 4: Draw. got 1 xp for everyone. Got a grand total of 8 wyrdstone through looting (looted 2, took 3 in the scenario) and trade (got paid 1 to fight and 2 to stop fighting). Also looted 4 gp. Sold 8 shards for 130. Got a champion for 35, a brace of pistols and a suit of light armour from Kalmar's for 50, plus a suit of heavy armour for another 50.
Game 5: Got absolutely fucking destroyed. 1 xp for everyone, 3 for Fulko. Lost a warrior, Vittorio, Horst and Moncha injured. Got 2 shards and an axe off of a corpse. Horst fired and replaced for 15. Bought a sword, a buckler, two shields and a pistol for 40. Switched over to the Tilean ruleset because I learned that it's actually a thing. Trantios variant to keep the bonus 100 gp and skill choices in line with Marienburg.
Game 6: Victory. 1 xp for everyone, +3 for Fulko and Giacomo, +1 for Vittorio. Lost a halberdier, Moncha injured. 3 wyrdstone looted, 3 taken in the scenario. Sold all for 100 gp. Giacomo misses next game due to poisoned well. Ransomed a monk for 2 Lucky Charms. Sold a halberd for 5 and a shield for 3. Bought a spear for 10 and gave spears to marksmen. Hired four warriors for 200 and bought 4 maces for them for 12. Gold left: 6
Game 7: Victory. 1 xp for everyone save Giacomo. Moncha gets 3 and Wessel 1 bonus xp for kills. Lost a crossbowman. Hired a Merchant. Found 4 shards and a short bow, sold for 68 total. Bought four shields for macemen. Gold left: 34.
Game 8: Victory. 1xp for everyone. Additionally 3 for Giacomo for winning and kills, 2 for Fulko and Vittorio for kills. Found 4 shards and 8gp. Sold shards for 65 and a dagger for 9. Paid 10 in upkeep. Hired a crossbwoman for 56. Bought a sword and a pistol for Wessel for 25, and a second sword for Moncha for 10. Gold left: 15.
Game 9: Victory. 1xp for everyone, 2 for Giacomo. Got 15gc, a sword and a suit of light armour from a chest, and 3 shards sold for 66 gc (11 bonus). Sold the sword for 10 and the armour for 15. Paid 10 in upkeep and bought a rabbit's foot for 10.
