Decades ago, an evil man descended upon Hyrule. Ganondorf - he tried to claim the Triforce, splitting it to three pieces and claiming the Triforce of Power for himself. The Sacred Realm was corrupted by his influence, now a dark world. A Hero of Time, Link, saved the seven sages who then trapped Ganondorf in the now twisted realm with his piece of the Triforce, forever locking him away so his evil may never harm Hyrule again. Now the royal family has hidden the key to the Temple of Time and the Sacred Realm away as well as the remaining two pieces of the Triforce, and there was peace... for a time. Recently, the Temple of Time literally disappeared from its foundations in Hyrule Castle Town. Baffled and fearful that this is symptomatic of Ganon's return, the Hyrule royal family has consulted the esoteric inscriptions left by the sages past. They learned that the sages spoke of several strange characters who would relieve Hyrule in a coming darkest hour. These would-be heroes were promised fortune and favor for setting out on a quest to get to the bottom of this mystery, to fulfill the sages' prophecy, and to save Hyrule from darkness once again. But what could the disappearance of the Temple of Time and these vague prophecies mean?
