Manses and Hearthstones[edit]

MANSE: The Tree Bearing An Orichalcum Heart, level 1 Solar Manse.

Once upon a time, before the Solars were born, Sol looked across the East as he traveled across the sky. A humble clearing caught his eye and he stopped to see why there was nothing growing there. He found a Dragon King there, tending to a small tree made of crystal and gold. When the Dragon King noticed his Lord there, he wept in despair, for the Raptok had hoped to make the tree grow until it became a wonderful symbol of the Divine Fire's glory. Touched by this, Sol assured his servant that it was already wonderful in that he thought of such a gift in the first place. He went to Gaia to ask that the Raptok's gift be made living.

Gaia did so, and things were good. Years and years later, after the Primordial War came and passed, a young Solar found themselves at the foot of a brilliant golden tree that dominated what would have been a clearing, with a single fruit in its branches. The Exalt found the Raptok there, who gave the Solar the Hearthstone of the Grove, an Unconquered Faith Pearl (Solar version of the Hardened Spirit Gemstone). When the Solar died, he had it sent back to the Dragon King in gratitude, and it may be still there today...

(Manse Rating of 1) x 2 + Maintenance 1 + Habitability 2 = 5 Creation Points The Tree is nothing more than that, and provides just as many amenities, and its roots require careful tending to keep it from disrupting the leylines the manse sits on. Archives (2 points) - The Tree's leaves have Old Realm all over them that would allow an Exalt to help pray better to the Unconquered Sun. Living Manse (1 point) - It's a tree of gold and crystal given life by Gaia herself and then encouraged into geomantic pathways by a Dragon King. Immutable (1 due to Favored Aspect) - Gaia's touch on the manse has made its reality extraordinarily stable. Well-Flavored Aspect (1 point) - Solars and Dragon Kings find comfort in this manse, as it is a gift to the Sun, who opened its metaphysical doors to all of his Chosen who would find themselves here.
