Chaugnar Faugn

Chaugnar Faugn is a Great Old One from the story "The Horror from the Hills", which refers to one of his titles. He also appears within Pathfinder. He is a large, ponderous humanoid with an appearance similar to a humanoid elephant's, but with a lamprey-like mouth on the end of the trunk, see-through tusks, and webbed ears. His other nickname, "The Feeder", is due to his bloodsucking ways. See, whilst he spends much of his time staying completely still, enough so that one may mistake him for an idol, he can move unbelievably fast for his size when hungry, lashing out and draining his prey dry of blood in a moment with his trunk-proboscis-mouth.

Chaugnar Faugn is also the creator of the Miri-Nigri, a race of squamous, unpleasant, hairless dwarves he created from the flesh of toads. The Miri-Nigri would later hybridize with local people to produce the Tcho-Tcho, a race of hairless cannibal Pygmies with toadlike, warty skin and a squamous appearance.
