The Csaba Armored Car, official designation 39M Csaba, was an armored car used by the Hungarian Royal Army and a unit available in Flames of War.
IRL[edit]
The Csaba originates from the mind of Nicholas Straussler, the same man who would design the DD drive for Britain. As the Brits had no interest in his armored cars, he sold them to the Hungarians. The Csaba was adopted after trials, and they were equipped with 8mm machine guns and a 20mm Bullpup AT rifle that had been developed by the Swiss and Germans.
The 39M was not a frontline unit, with very few being assigned to that role. The Csaba served largely as a recon vehicle throughout the war. A variant, the 40M, was a command vehicle with a radio set that removed the AT rifle.
