According to their website, Cubicle 7 "make clever games for awesome people". By 'awesome people' they mean bearded guys with huge dice collections who prefer to live in realms of make-believe. In other words: they make and publish roleplaying games, and they're really quite good at it.
They have made various roleplaying games set in the Tolkien universe, the Dr. Who universe, and are currently responsible for four separate RPGs for Games Workshop (Wrath & Glory, which they took from Ulisses Spiele, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition, Age of Sigmar Soulbound, and Imperium Maledictum). They were also going to try and throw their hat into the ring with a fully original 5E supplement, but with the dawn of the OGL 1.2 scandal, they've decided to follow in the footsteps of publishers like Kobold Press and Matt Colville and create their own not-5E in an attempt to mop up any dissidents fleeing from the brush fire that is the 5E Community.
