Gloomwrought is a major planar metropolis in the World Axis version of the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse. Located in the Shadowfell, it is one of the great planar cities that would be rivals to Sigil, with known counterparts including Hestavar in the Astral Sea and the City of Brass in the Elemental Chaos.

With its evershifting, macabre geography, it is sometimes dismissed as "Gothpunk Sigil", but the shifting nature of the buildings and streets is actually an homage to a late 90s (as in, 1998) horror/Urban Fantasy film called "Dark City". Using the Keepers to keep order, whilst intended to homage "The Strangers" who were running the Dark City, doesn't really help, because they just come off as Goth Dabus.
