Heavily WIP.
General[edit]
The Carpenters[edit]
Taking on the aspects of the conspiracies that the Freemasons formed the US government for reasons, the Carpenters are part of a fraternal group that take it on themselves to essentially ensure that America functions without too much madness. That doesn't necessarily mean they're fix every problem, though. Still, they do believe in what America claims itself to be more than the likes of the Barrett Commission, and especially Task Force: VALKYRIE. What backs up their talk is their access to "The Contract". No one knows what the Contract necessarily is, but the going theory is that it's a gestalt force of America made manifest. One that works to help the Carpenters do what's needed.
Undead and Prometheans[edit]
Shapeshifters[edit]
Witches[edit]
Fairies[edit]
The Office of the Lord Stewards[edit]
A division of the British civil service whose job is to maintain the complex web of treaties and agreements between Great Britain and various supernatural entities. These brit-bongs aren't even allowed to carry handguns despite walking into the parlor of various supernatural horrors who might decide to not renew their agreement with HRH, or even worse are already reneging on it and will kill anyone who finds out. At least they can call upon the army and some measure of magical power from the land itself through their agreements with it. Oi m8 you got a loiscence for that?
The Regency of Thorns[edit]
A secret army of Fairy Hunters initially formed out of the families of taken Changelings. Founded by an allegedly exiled member of the True Fae known as The King of Dead Leaves who was banished for supposedly preventing the other Arcadian True Fae from invading our world. The exiled king claims that the Changeling Fetches are in fact the actual person instead of being a magical construct, and that the Changelings are actually the false beings who are the vanguard of the invasion sent out to unwittingly unravel the Hedge and terraform the world into something tolerable to the True Fae. The King was assassinated by a cold-iron crossbow bolt in a big fuck-fuck of a diplomatic meeting with several Changeling Courts and Freeholds, and no-one knows who it was that fired the shot. The Regency brings powerful Thorn-apples to the hunt, a type of goblin-fruit that can bestow powers upon the eater... for a price.
