The Hand of Abbadon

The Hand of Abbadon were a group of powerful individuals that the Warmaster tasked with causing as much damage to the Imperium post Gathering Storm as possible. The early years of the Indomitus Crusade were spent fighting as much against their machinations as well as general Chaos military forces. To this end, they were permitted access to great resources and subsequently bitterly hunted by the Inquisition. Despite the name, the Inquisition were initially hampered by not knowing how many of the bastards their actually were ; suffice to say there is definitely more than one.
