Vexilus Praetor

Vexilus Praetor in Allarus Terminator armor. Happens to look Mongolian as all get-out, which is the first bone White Scars players have been thrown in years.

Vexilus Praetors are your average run of the mill flag carriers of the Adeptus Custodes and adds several unique buffs to your golden horde of half naked superhuman men. Like all standard bearers, they act roughly in a similar function.

With 8th edition, Vexilus Praetors can now come in Terminator form! So....yay? (Although for some unknown reason by doing so he lose his main weapons losing most of his combat ability for being able to deep-strike.)

Overview

As mentioned, Vexilus Praetors are the Standard Bearers of the Adeptus Custodes, but unlike their counter parts in other Imperium armies, they are infused with mysterious crypto-technological abilities that aid their brethren and allies in battle.

Just as their weapons and armor have always been fashioned to reflect his martial glory, so too are the proud standards known as Vexillas, which are borne to war by some of the most veteran Custodians. Few shield companies march to war without Vexillas rising above them.

What abilities come to the fore however, depend on the Standard they carry into battle. These include the Vexilla Magnifica, which offers the Custodes greater protection against ranged attacks, the Vexilla Imperius, which increases the damage the Custodes' weapons deal in battle, and the Vexilla Defensor, which offers some protection to their Imperium allies against ranged attacks.
