The Ermine Mantle received sudden recognition from /tg/ due to its appearance in the Battle for Cold Shoulder Thread, particularly relating to its Canoness Konstanzia. The order was shown to be a small but effective one - much more reasonable than many other Sisters of Battle regiments, but also being filled with vain, catty and generally bitchy members, whose reasonableness have left them rather suspicious of the competency of each other, and other forces.
