==Archetypes==
There aren't a great many archetypes for the Cryptic, considering how few psionic supplements there are. That is not to say that the ones that exist are bad, however.
*Brutal Disruptor is probably one of the most used, considering how it enables Disrupt Pattern to be used as part of a melee attack and only sacrifices traps, a welcome offering.
*Distorter sacrifices tattoos and a few insights to become a pro illusionist and mindfucker by screwing with distance perception. They can also give a permanent zone of silence for best sneaking.
*Pattern Breaker sacrifices stealth to break enchantments and locks.
