===Chapter Combat Doctrine=== The Mechanist Warriors prize mobility and fluidity in battle. Unlike their dour sires, they are very comfortable with hit-and-run tactics. Pistol marksmanship, especially while controlling a bike, is a fixation of the Chapter. Tank operation is utilized but not favored by the Marines of the Chapter with many wanting to take fast vehicles sacrificing protection for mobility. Sharpshooters are given a special place in the Chapter, delivering death from afar after a biker raid. They are crucial to the hit-and-run pathos the Warriors rely on. The rifles of these keen eyed Marines remove scores of enemies from the battle while they are disoriented. Always on the margin of the fighting instruction of the codex, the Chapter has gradually modified its companies into independent formations, each maintaining its own scout and veteran squads. This variant organisation has meant that they are often the first respondents to incursions from aliens, heretics, and traitors. When a problem is too big for their widely-spread forces, the Mechanist Warriors know that they can draw on the strength of the other Cataphract Successors. The Warriors are an exception to the mutual hatred Silver Cataphract Successors have for one another, always being able to rely on their brother Chapters for support. This is because the Warriors repay these favors in kind, being the first to come to their aid when imperiled.
